Production in sync with the market - optimum coordination of capacities and order networks
FELIOS allows a consistent customer-orientation thanks to production in sync with the market. Based on the current customer orders, all necessary production orders and deliveries are dynamically linked to order networks and simultaneously scheduled taking into account the actual labour, machine and material availability capacities (pull principle).
Suitable optimisation methods hereby ensure a inter-divisional synchronization of all parts and components within the scope of order networks so that missing parts and unnecessary stocks of semi-finished products are avoided. FELIOS also synchronises anonymous customer orders sensibly with the current requirements from customer orders. The workshop passage of all production orders is also coordinated correctly and thus greatly accelerated.
Material flow optimisation with FELIOS is carried out by the daily specification of a feasible synchronised work queue for every resource that deliberately leaves leeway for the specification of the sequence at every work centre.
This cleverly combines the inter-divisional software optimisation and local responsibility of the foreman and machine operator.
FELIOS – early warning system in production control
The early warning system for customer orders specifically identifies imminent delivery problems and their causes in the order network. The correct countermeasures can be initiated with little work. FELIOS automatically determines suitable solutions during the optimisation. These are shown to the production scheduler in clearly arranged displays. The online simulation that is already provided in the standard FELIOS version supports the planner in estimating suitable measures for success. What's more, the online simulation can be used in daily business to respond promptly to delivery and date inquiries. The long-term effects of malfunctions such as machine failures or delayed purchased parts can also be identified immediately and treated.
FELIOS provides fast „What if ...“ analyses that immediately show the possible scheduling consequences for affected customer orders transparently.
