What sets Inform apart as a company?
In a word? Innovation. I work in quality assurance and develop test procedures for our products. That means looking each and every day for new ways to make our products even better. It's very diversified.
And as an employer?
The fact that as an employee, I can balance my working life and family very well. I don't think there are many companies that achieve this as well as Inform. I really appreciate the flexibility over working times, for instance. I am a mother of two small children, so I know what I am talking about. And I did not hesitate for a moment in placing my children in the company nursery from the age of six months. They get the best possible care there. Also, Inform attends to the small details to give employees a sense of well-being.
What details for example?
There is always the opportunity to take a break for 15 minutes to relax if you need to. Sports are offered, as well as yoga sessions or massages. Anyone can make an appointment for a massage. Or you can kick a ball around or have a game of table football with colleagues - it's not frowned upon, quite the opposite.
What kind of affect does this have on the working atmosphere?
A very good one, of course. The atmosphere here is very cooperative, almost like a family. We're all on first name terms, no matter whether boss or assistant. The hierarchies are very flat. There's also a conscious effort towards team trust. The company excursions, for instance, are all about enjoying shared experiences. Mutual trust is correctly practiced. This is extremely important to working together.
