KPIs for bulk materials logistics - Are you measuring the right things?
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are a vital tool for measuring business-wide performance and are long-established within sales, financial and operational departments. The use of KPIs in bulk materials logistics and supply chain management is, however, often neglected, although these departments are mission critical in order to maximize efficiencies, customer satisfaction and profit margins.
This video of a presentation held by Thomas Bergmans, Vice President Logistics Division at INFORM, on Cemtech Middle East and Africa in 2016

- explains how to convert these metrics into useful KPIs, and
- shows what steps can be taken to improve logistics performance and planning.
