INFORM and Kuehne + Nagel, using SyncroSupply as a basis, implemented a comprehensive event logistics system in a minimum amount of time. In just two months, the project was successfully put into action due to the close cooperation of the two companies. Kuehne + Nagel aims to distribute the deliveries and collections evenly and efficiently at events with SyncroSupply. The company's distributions are in the areas of catering, merchandising, technology and waste disposal.
The resources for the event venue are utilized optimally due to the intelligent time slot management and truck supply control. The booking of time slots enables an even distribution of all deliveries and collections during the day. This way, truck congestions and long waiting hours are prevented. By recording and coordinating all transports in real-time, the responsible parties at Kuehne + Nagel know at any given time, which deliveries are imminent or delayed.
Additionally, SyncroSupply enables a controlled venue entrance. Only booked and confirmed transports are allowed access to a particular venue. This authorized access is proofed automatically a few kilometers away from the venue at the so-called consolidation point.
