The Inventory & Supply Chain team would like to express its sincere thanks for the great cooperation and wishes you and your families a Merry Christmas.

Our contribution to a strong sense of community

At INFORM, sustainability is the foundation of everything we do. For us, it doesn't start with big concepts, but with each individual person. That's why we are specifically committed to projects that promote social participation and directly support people.

At the end of the year, we therefore look back not only on successful projects and shared milestones. We also focus on what shapes our year beyond our everyday work: on people, on initiatives, and on all those who are deeply committed to fostering a vibrant community.

Based on this self-image, we are continuing our two projects that are close to our hearts this year: our “GIVE ME FIVE” donation initiative and the wish-fulfillment campaign with the Ronald McDonald House in Aachen. We would like to give you a few insights here:

GIVE ME FIVE: 5 clubs that our team would like to support this year

Sandra thought of the Weiden Gymnastics Club basketball department

The basketball department of the Weiden Gymnastics Club was entered into the raffle for our fundraising campaign by our colleague Sandra Zimmermann from the Key Account Management team. Her son Leo has been playing on the basketball team for three years. The club will use the donation for its New Year's camp during the Christmas holidays.

Janosch thought of the Knutschfleck youth club

The youth club Knutschfleck was nominated by our colleague Janosch Beser, UX Professional. Knutschfleck offers queer young people aged 14 to 27 an open meeting place and a counseling center that creates a safe, discrimination-free space for encounters, exchange, creative activities, and personal support.

Pia thought about The old school in Venwegen

Pia Kus, who works in Customer Success, nominated the non-profit association for open and association-based child and youth work in the Old School in Stolberg-Venwegen. Pia herself lives in Stolberg and is a member of the association. The donation is expected to be used to purchase playground equipment and repaint the entrance area and stairwell.

Ina thought of the Mercator School's booster club

The Mercator School (formerly Jakob Muth School) supports children and young people with special needs in the areas of learning, language, and emotional and social development. During the opening speech at the school's Christmas bazaar, Ina Dobbelstein, Agile Coach in the Supply Chain department, presented the donation check.

Fabian thought of the children's and youth department of carnival club Eefelkank

Our software developer Fabian Roscheda has nominated the children's and youth department of the Carnival Club Eefelkank Eschweiler Hastenrath. Fabian himself has been active in the club since this year. Eefelkank is a carnival club that offers guard dancing, show dancing, a trumpet corps, and a band, and has a large children's and youth department with a guard and trumpet corps.

Wish fulfillment campaign with the Ronald McDonald House

We are also continuing our traditional Christmas campaign with the Ronald McDonald House in Aachen this year. Together, our employees fulfill the Christmas wishes of seriously ill children and their siblings. The gifts are currently being collected and prepared – a small contribution that aims to bring some joy to families during a challenging time.

We would like to thank all employees who are participating in the campaign and thus providing a little support in our region.
