INFORM, a global pioneer in AI-powered optimization software based in Aachen, Germany, has signed an agreement to support Union de Concreteras (UNICON), a major supplier of ready-mix concrete in Peru, in enhancing the efficiency and performance of their truck fleet.

UNICON was established in 1996 and is part of the UNACEM group. With over 2,000 employees and a fleet of more than 500 mixer trucks, the company has played a pivotal role in major infrastructure projects across Peru, including the expansion of the Jorge Chávez International Airport, and the construction of Lima Metro’s Line 2. Committed to sustainability, UNICON's products are certified under ISO 14001 and ISO 14064 standards, aligning with Peru's "Mivivienda Verde" program for eco-friendly housing.

Through this collaboration, INFORM will bring its deep expertise in applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Operations Research to complex logistics challenges. Drawing on decades of experience in transport planning and execution, INFORM will work closely with UNICON to improve the performance, responsiveness, and sustainability of its fleet operations.

We are excited to collaborate with INFORM and benefit from their logistics expertise. Their support is helping us identify ways to better utilize our resources and deliver consistent, high-quality service to our customers.
