Which estimation or testing method is right for our warehouse?
That depends on your warehouse structure. INVENT XPERT includes an automatic method comparison: the system calculates every applicable method based on your data and recommends the one with the smallest sample size at the same confidence level. Sequential testing is typically recommended for automated high-bay warehouses; for manual warehouses, difference, regression, or ratio estimation is recommended depending on the error structure.
