INFORM at LogiMAT 2026: AI for smarter decisions across the value chain
Jan 15, 2026
INFORM will be exhibiting at LogiMAT 2026 in Stuttgart, Germany from March 24–26. Under the motto “Your stages with AI,” the software company will be in Hall 4, Booth D61, showcasing new AI innovations alongside established solutions that help organizations plan and manage complex operations. The focus is on decision-intelligence software that supports planning and control in complex environments, spanning supply chain management and production planning through to transportation and logistics.

INFORM looks forward to connecting with visitors at its booth to discuss AI solutions for supply chain, production, and logistics (image source: INFORM).
At LogiMAT, INFORM will introduce Demand AI, a cloud-based forecasting service that automates demand and sales forecasting and connects smoothly to existing planning workflows without long implementation cycles. Demand AI continuously generates forecasts for products with sales history while also producing reliable initial demand forecasts for new items. The underlying AI leverages insights from millions of real-world time series, detects shifting market patterns, and separates short-lived spikes from longer-term trends. For new items, it applies similarity-based intelligence to build reliable initial forecasts right at product launch. Forecast results are delivered via API to ERP and planning systems, supporting faster, better-informed decisions in procurement and supply chain planning
As part of its LogiMAT program, INFORM will also share perspectives on where AI-driven decision-making and process optimization are headed. Dr. Bernd Heinrichs, Senior Vice President Inventory & Supply Chain at INFORM, will give a German-language presentation titled „Schluss mit Entweder-Oder: Warum Explainable AI Erfahrung und Daten braucht“ on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. in Forum South (Hall 4).
INFORM will also feature:
- Supply chain planning
AI-enabled solutions that increase transparency in S&OP processes and support cross-functional decision-making. In addition, applications for demand planning and inventory optimization, as well as simplified stocktaking through inventory sampling. - Production planning
The advanced planning and scheduling (APS) system FELIOS for machine and plant engineering analyzes planning-relevant data, generates realistic schedules, and dynamically adjusts capacity as conditions change. The software also increases transparency across procurement, engineering, and sales, while supporting shift and workforce scheduling, capacity planning, and project planning for end-to-end planning. The new module FELIOS AI | SupplyTimePrediction predicts replenishment lead times for purchased parts and reduces estimation errors by up to 42%. FELIOS | PRO expands production planning with capabilities for controlling internal material and goods flows. - Intralogistics & plant logistics
The intralogistics management system SYNCROTESS centrally controls and optimizes internal transport operations. It orchestrates hybrid fleets of forklifts, tugger trains, AGVs, terminal tractors, and trucks It accounts for priorities, distances, due dates, and the availability of vehicles, loading areas, transport equipment, and staff. With AI-supported real-time optimization, the system responds immediately to disruptions, dynamically replans transport orders, and minimizes empty runs. In addition, SYNCROSUPPLY provides yard-management visibility into truck arrivals, dock operations, and on-site resources, synchronizing planning and execution even when last-minute changes occur. - Container and reusable packaging management
As a digital-twin approach, SYNCROTESS creates end-to-end visibility into container location, status, and availability across the supply chain. It detects deviations in real time and enables proactive dispatching. This simplifies the coordination of loops and returns and strengthens reusable packaging cycles, also in light of the requirements of the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). At the same time, it helps reduce both CapEx and OpEx by cutting down on replacement purchases and lowering day-to-day operational effort. An audit-proof transaction log also provides traceable inventory and movement records, supporting documentation and reporting for sustainability requirements.
“At this year’s LogiMAT, we’ll show how companies can use AI to make the best possible decisions across supply chain management, production, and logistics,” says Dr. Bernd Heinrichs. “What matters is explainable AI. AI that creates transparency and reinforces people as the accountable decision-makers in the process. We’re looking forward to discussing this approach with industry professionals at LogiMAT and exploring practical, real-world use cases.”
