That’s what Human-Centered Design (HCD) is all about.

Products are only successful if they truly improve users’ everyday work. In the B2B context, that means: less training required, fewer support cases, and faster company-wide adoption.
 

The foundation of this approach is user research. For HCD to work, we need to understand how people – especially planners, but also key users and other WorkforcePlus users – actually work: their tasks, goals, and environment. A tool’s usefulness always depends on its context. Without a clear understanding of real workflows and user needs, every solution carries risk.

What does your participation look like in practice?

Depending on the topic, we use different methods – and as a Discovery Partner, you help decide which ones.
Before we begin, we will discuss the process and scope of the research activities together. This way, you always stay informed and can decide how deeply you want to be involved.

Field Studies

- Kick-off with project leads (approx. 45–60 min)
- Together, we define the framework and identify the right primary users.
- Interviews with end users (approx. 30–45 min per session)
- We talk to employees who use WorkforcePlus daily (e.g. planners) to understand their workflows and challenges.

UX Tests

- Coordination with project leads (approx. 30–45 min)
- We determine which user groups should participate.
- Tests with end users (approx. 30–45 min per test)
- Users test interactive prototypes or new features and give direct feedback on what works and what causes confusion.

Surveys

- Minimal effort for you: we will send a link that you can easily forward to relevant user groups.
- Result: quick, wide-ranging feedback, especially helpful for spotting trends or setting priorities.

Important note: Our user research doesn’t guarantee that every individual request will be implemented immediately. Your input helps us make the right decisions for the broader user base.

  • Participation in research is voluntary – there are no disadvantages if you choose not to participate.
